The Amalfi Coast Tour!

Who doesn't dream of lying on the beach, warm sea water lapping at your toes? Or perhaps being on a private boat with warm sea breezes blowing through your hair...glass of Prosecco in hand? Maybe a fantastic seafood meal with a gorgeous view and delicious local wine? No problem! We can make all that and more happen for you. Below is a sample itinerary which includes Rome, the countryside of Lazio south of Rome, and Campania to include the Amalfi Coast.
This ten night tour begins with two nights in Rome. If you are a repeat visitor to Rome, and you've already seen the major sights, I will book fascinating tours on the not-to-be-missed "B-list" of things to do in Rome. If you are a first time visitor, we'll be sure to hit the biggies like the Colosseum and the Vatican Museums. (Or repeat visitors may choose to start their trip in Naples!)
When we depart Rome in our privately driven van, we head out into the countryside south of the city. The next two nights will be spent in Naples, but on the way to that bustling city, we have lots of things to see. There's a wine tasting to take care of, a fabulous lunch to be had, and sights galore off-the-beaten-path. Once we are in Naples, we get a walking tour of the city, a visit to Pompei, the charm of Naples itself, and of course fabulous food.
From there, the real natural scenic beauty of the Costiera Amalfitana or Amalfi Coast begins. While there, we'll visit Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi, Ravello, Vietri sul Mare (ceramics shopping!) and more. In addition to visiting all these charming little towns, we can take a day trip to the island of Capri on our private boat, or hike the Path of the Gods. And while there, we'll enjoy all the delicious foods and wines the Amalfi Coast has to offer. Foremost, of course is seafood. There are wonderful pastas made will all kinds of seafood and all manner of fish; baked, grilled, pan-fried, etc. You won't be able to stop eating the buffalo milk mozzarella; so fresh and milky. There will be lots of new wines to try as well; Aglianico, Falanghina, Fiano di Avellino and so many more. Never heard of them? You'll love them! Oh, and limoncello.....lots of limoncello, along with new types you may never have seen before.
The trip ends with a final night in Rome, giving you time to repack, reorganize, have a Farewell Dinner and take in any last sights and sounds of the city before you return home. Or you might choose to depart Italy on a late afternoon flight, and transit directly from the Amalfi Coast to the Rome airport for departure.
